Memories of your day do not begin at the ceremony. There is so much more that happens in the preparation of your big day that you are going to want to remember. 

I like to describe my wedding photography as documenting your day and capturing it as it unfolds. In order to tell the story properly, we need to start at the beginning. I feel that it is important to capture all the joy and emotion of your day as they happen. I like to meet with my couples before their big day, not including our initial meeting. It is nice to plan a few of the bridal shots of the day, so I also like to meet at the grounds where your ceremony is going to be held. A little preparation goes a long way, especially with the bridal and portrait shots that happen between your ceremony and reception.

Planning things like, where to take the family portraits and certain must-haves can help that critical time run smoothly. There is nothing worse than looking back at the day and seeing that you had forgotten to get a photo with Uncle Bob and Aunt Wendy. Organizing a few locations for the bridal and couple shots also helps to to make sure that your day runs stress free and ensures that you get the images you want and love.
